Krav på irländskt nyval
22 november 2010De Gröna, som utgör en liten men avgörande del för den irländska regeringskoalitionens majoritet, krävde på måndagen att nyval utlyses. Partiet vill att det irländska folket ska få säga sitt i frågan om vilken politik som ska leda landet genom den svåra ekonomiska krisen.
Miljöpartiets ledare John Gormley säger i ett uttalande att "den gångna veckan har varit traumatisk för de irländska väljarna. Människor känner sig vilseledda och förrådda".
Miljöpartiet sitter kvar i regeringen och kommer att stödja det senaste lån- och sparprogrammet men vill att ett nyval genomförs under andra halvan av januari 2011, rapporterar BBC.
